Jr. [Marie], Ethel [Gerald] Ziolkowski, Thomas [Charlene], Beatrice [Frank] Mason, Karen [David] McQueen; grandfather of 15; great-grandfather of one. Member of American Legion, O'Donnell Eddie Floss Post. Funeral services Wednesday, 10 a.m., at the McInerney Funeral Home, 46th place and Wallace street. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

Lester's parents divorced and his mother remarried A. W. Lewis. Lester and Mr. Lewis did not get along very well, so Emma signed papers and lied about Lester's age so that he could go into the Navy. He was only 15 at the time.
