Mrs. Clarence BAKER was dead on arrival at a Sioux City hospital Sunday after being stricken at home.
The former Genevieve ZACEK was born 8 December 1925 at Lindsay, Neb. She moved to Sioux City with her family in 1939 and was married 4 October 1942 at Dakota City. She had resided in Sioux City since. She was a member of Riverside Luthern Church.
Survivors include the widower; a son Kenneth of Millard, Neb; her mother, Mrs. Violet ZACEK of Sioux City; 5 brothers, Bill ZACEK of Sioux City; Bob ZACEK of Phoenix, Ariz.; Frank and Don ZACEK, both of Santa Ana, Calif.; and James ZACEK of Bakersfield, Calif; 2 sisters, Mrs. Loren (Irene) BLACKFORD of Sioux City and Mrs. Charles (Frances)LINGLE of McCook Lake, SD. and a grandchild, Kenneth John.
The body was taken to the Berkemier Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence Baker, 44, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Riverside Luthern Church. The Rev. Orion Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of the Berkemier Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Don Ensley, Gordon Woolridge, Gene Semple, Donald and Norman Loker and Richard Bathurst.
Prayer services will be at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
