Walter Charles Platt Jr was one of seven children born to Walter Thomas Platt and Ella May (Haley) Platt. He was born December 2 1909 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. He relocated with his family to Millville New Jersey where he lived for most of his life. He was a foreman of the packing Operations at Kerr Glass Company for 46 years. He was a member of the Second United Methodist Church and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie club #1836 and also a member of the Thunderbolt Club. He died suddenly on July 10 1972 in Millville, New Jersey.
