Funeral services for Mrs. A.H. Abbott, long time resident of the Big Rock community, were held Sunday afternoon at that community's church. Rev. R.L. Rhodes officiated and interment was in the Old Goshen Cemetery.
Pallbearers were J.H. Miller, Melvin Abbott, Frank Pennington, Cecil Abbott, Tull Thompson and Lester York.
Mrs. Abbott, 50, passed away Saturday in a Fort Worth hospital. She had been ill several months and was taken to the hospital in a serious condition a week ago.
The deceased was born in West Virginia. She spent the last 35 years of her life in Henderson County.
Survivors are her widower, A.M. Abbott of Eustace; three sons, Emmett Abbott of Fort Worth, Zane Abbott of Eustace and Clint Abbott of the U.S. Navy at San Diego, California; two daughters, Mrs. Virgie Key and Mrs. Fain Morton of Eustace; and her mother Mrs. Sara Abbott of Eustace.
Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
