Raymond Mer-rill Carroll, born October 16, 1965 in Vernon, Texas to Clovis Mer-rill 'Rabbit' and Katherine 'Kitty Lou' Burkhalter Carroll, passed away May 21, 2011 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 24th at 7 p.m. at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel in Iowa Park, Texas with Rev. Danny Hodgkins officiating.

Raymond graduated from Hirschi High School. 'Baby Ray' had worked for 23 years at Tranter, Inc in Wichita Falls before his illness. He had been a Boy Scout Leader for many years. He was an avid car collector. He loved country music. Ray never met a stranger and everyone that met him loved him. He will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Patterson, Burkburnett; 4 sons, Robert Gardner and wife, Terry of Byers, Dustin Carroll and wife, Cecilia of Lubbock, Christopher Carroll and wife, Marisa of Iowa Park and Kendall Patterson of Burkburnett; one daughter, Kristal Patterson of Burkburnett; his father and step mother, Rabbit and Carol of Duncan, Oklahoma; one sister, Eva Tyler of Wichita Falls, one brother, Ronald Carroll and wife, Everette of Iowa Park; two grandsons, Chris Gardner of Byers, Texas and Kaine Carroll of Lubbock; two granddaughters, Joanie Miller and Mackenzie Carroll both of Lubbock and Madalyn Rhea is due in June.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kitty Lou Lynch, brother-in-law, Roy Tyler
and nephew John Neeley-Tyler.

Memorials are suggested to the Boy Scouts of America.

"FAITH" is the word under his name. It was a tattoo that he had on his wrist. Either way you look at that, it says Faith . This was his motto, You have to have faith. Never stop having Faith.
