Ernest R. Carlson was born on 28 Mar 1905 in Flysered, Sweden. He immigrated in 1910 to Nebraska. He resided at a farm between 1915 and 1997 in Paton, Greene County, Iowa. He died on 31 May 1997 in Jefferson, Greene County, Iowa at Greene County Medical Center.
