Arline Clawson Hodges Standiford, 91, of Cocoa, Fla., formerly of Arcadia, died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at home.
Born Nov. 3, 1919, in Boone, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Calvin Martin and Delphia Roxie Clawson Hodges. She was the wife of Ernest Franklin Standiford, her husband of 71 years.
She was a homemaker, administrative assistant and a longtime volunteer with the Arcadia volunteer fire company. She had been a resident of Florida since 1994.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a niece, Shirley Mackley, of Gettysburg, Pa.; a nephew, Kenny Gore, of Felton, Pa.; and numerous cousins and extended family.
The service was at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with the Rev. Bryan K. Wintersteen officiating. Interment in St. Paul's Church Cemetery in Upperco
