Funeral services for Ancy Bell Wallace of Monticello were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 31, from Topeka Baptist Church. Revs. Mike Reid and F. E. Sellers conducted the services. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace, 83, died July 29 at the Lawrence County Medic Center, where she was a resident. During her lifetime, she was a homemaker and a member of Topeka Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Wallace of the Medic Center; two sons, Rev. Emmitt Lee Wallace of Rensselar, Indiana, and Claude Henry Wallace of Jayess; one daughter, Freddie Hamm of Jayess; one brother, Arthur Creel of McComb; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Roger Price, Lonnie Wallace, Corbett Wallace, I. J. Reid, Billy Alexander and Ronnie Wallace.
Hartman-Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
