Mrs. Wallace, 83, died July 29 at the Lawrence County Medic Center, where she was a resident. During her lifetime, she was a homemaker and a member of Topeka Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Wallace of the Medic Center; two sons, Rev. Emmitt Lee Wallace of Rensselar, Indiana, and Claude Henry Wallace of Jayess; one daughter, Freddie Hamm of Jayess; one brother, Arthur Creel of McComb; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Roger Price, Lonnie Wallace, Corbett Wallace, I. J. Reid, Billy Alexander and Ronnie Wallace.
Hartman-Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
