~A Dear Friend~

Reggie was born in Longville, Louisiana to Leo C. and Ouida Lee Mitchell Cooley. He spent the majority of his life working in the Oilfields of South Louisiana and Southeast Texas. He began his career at only 14 years of age and was one of the most knowledgeable oilfield hands I've ever known. Reggie worked for me for several years in the oilfields of Batson, Texas. He was a great leader to his men, and a loyal employee who had the best interest of the company at heart. Reggie impressed me with his honest and straightforward way of dealing with his job. Also with the care and concern he showed for his loving wife and family. He was a fine man and will be missed by family and friends alike. I could always count on him and he never once let me down. May he rest peacefully.
