Johnny R. Scroggs, 78, of Acworth passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 27,
2 pm from the Chapel of Winkenhofer Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Rev. David Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
A native of Acworth, Mr. Scroggs was retired from the City of Marietta Parks and Recreation as a maintenance attendant.
Survivors include Wife, Katherine "Pat" Lee Scroggs of Acworth, sons, Johnny R. Scroggs, Jr. of Acworth, Ricky Dean Scroggs of Chatsworth and Ronald O. Thomason of Acworth, daughter, Linda Evans of Chatsworth, sister, Nellie Mae Law of Marietta, 6 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
