Pearl D. Edwards passed away peacefully at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo on Sunday, May 22, 2011.

Pearl was born on Sept. 25, 1920, to Walter and Elsa Behnke in Ableman (Rock Springs). On Aug. 20, 1941, Pearl was united in marriage to Phillip Edwards. They had three sons, James (Janice), Ronald (Mary) and Scott (Amy), all living in Baraboo. Pearl was also blessed with four grandchildren, Jeremy (Amberly) of Baraboo, John (Tara) of Sparta, Josh (Amanda) of Dorchester, and Renee of Baraboo. She had five great-grandchildren, Chloe, MycKenzee, Dilyn, Brody and Parker. Pearl is also survived by her siblings, Betty Severson, Norma Caflisch, Joyce Karg, Durlin "Bud" Behnke, Donna (Jerry) Brooks and James (June) Behnke.

Graveside services will be held at WALNUT HILL CEMETERY in Baraboo for family and friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow at St. John's Fellowship Hall, 624 East St., Baraboo, at noon.
