Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor with burial at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
A native of Shelbyville, he lived in Vidor 48 years and was a retired letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include wife, Susie O. Bridges of Vidor; sons, Buddy Bridges of Beaumont, Bill Bridges of China and James Bridges of Lumberton; daughters, Becky Jones of Silsbee and Shirley Bulgherini of Vidor; step-sons, Robert Foy, John Foy, Charles Foy, Sidney Foy and Roger Foy, all of Vidor and Allen Foy of Fayetteville, N.C.; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; 22 step-grandchildren; and 17 step-great-grandchildren.
