Gladys was the oldest of seven children born to Tom and Ollie Sims. Her siblings are Hazel, Ona, Pearl, Albert, Doris & Walter (died when he was 3 days old). All of her siblings are now deceased. Gladys was born 14 Jun 1905 in Everton (DADE) Missouri, and died 27 Jan 2000 in Shawnee (Pottawatomie) Oklahoma. She married ROBERT CLAIR WAY 1921, son of CLARENCE WAY and LIDIA MURRY. He was born 24 Feb 1903 in Peoria, Illinois, and died September 1983 in Oklahoma.

Gladys was an awesome lady and was kind and generous to everyone. She was a lot of fun to be around. Everyone loved Gladys. Our favorite name for Gladys was "Gadget Gladys". She always had a gadget to make or fix anything you needed to do in the kitchen. Gladys was not given a middle name when she was born, so she gave herself the middle name of "Mable". Gladys is so missed by her family and friends.
