AGED CITIZEN MOURNED HERE

Mrs. Eliza Ann Seal, 79, one of the most beloved citizens of this section, died at her home here Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock following a period of ill health.
Funeral services are to be held this afternoon from the local Baptist church with the Rev. James Horton, pastor, conducting the services, assisted by the Rev. O. P. Estes, pastor at Picayune, and the Rev. S. F. Harkey, pastor of the Poplarville Methodist church.
Mrs. Seal was the widow of the late Jeff Davis Seal, who died in 1920. She was born in Pearl River county May 10, 1862, the daughter of William Floyd Seal and Gillie Stewart Seal. She moved to Poplarville about 25 years ago.
Mrs. Seal was known throughout the county and her home was the scene of much company as people from all over the county dropped in to chat with her when they came to Poplarville. She was held in high esteem by all who knew her and respected for the many fine qualities in her character.
Survivors include two sons, Griffin Seal, Carriere, and Ameal Seal, Poplarville; three daughters, Mrs. Maude Jarrell, Bogalusa, Miss Belle Seal, Poplarville, and Mrs. H. R. McIntosh, Picayune; one foster daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Ramshur, Bogalusa; and 35 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
