Services honoring the life of Bobbie Joe Bell,84 of Florien were held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 22 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with interment following at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Officiating were the Rev. Edward Freeman and Bro. Brooks Coburn.

Mr. Bell was born on January 13, 1927, and entered into rest on May 20, 2011, at Many Health Care.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Bell; son, Scotty Bell and son-in-law, Roger Parks.

He is survived by two sons, Wade Bell and wife, Valerie, and Terry Bell and wife, Trena; daughter, Darlene Parks, all of Florien; grandchildren, Brady Bell, Landon Bell, Dustin Bell, Steffi Glover and husband, Lee; and Daphne Clark and husband, Joe; and Derick LeFeat; great-grandchldren, Brandi Clark, Matthew Clark, Dacota Glover, Shaylee Glover and Kayden Glover; brother, Willie Bell; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers were Neil Thaxton, Billy Cox, Tyler Thaxton, Gordon Canady, Lee Glover and Gary Westfall.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Johnnie Conerly and Lenin Murry.
