Mary Ellen Hendrickson was the daughter of Samuel and Ellen Hendrickson, born 1857 in Tennessee. Mary Ellen married Henry Percy Adkisson 9 July 1878. Together they had 3 children, 2 surviving childhood. Marry Ellen died 7 Dec 1886 at the age of 29 years, 5 months and 4 days. She was buried in Dyllis cemetery near her young daughter Maggie and close by Henry and his second wife.
