She was born April 9, 1896, in Sedalia, MO, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Riley Wray.
After coming to Montana she farmed near Manhattan for about 45 years. In 1958 Mrs. McBroom opened the Cookies Café at Manhattan and operated it until 1965.
She married Russell McBroom at Klamath Falls, Ore., in 1942.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, at Manhattan, include three sons, Neal Curtis of Belgrade, Lowell Curtis of Manhattan and Ernest Curtis of Bozeman; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel. Funeral services will be announced later.
