Dies at Home Here
Eli Van Sickle Ramsey, 83, died at his home, 222 Wickes street Monday morning. A native of Kentucky, Ramsey had resided in San Antonio for 32 years. He was a retired Pullman conductor. He was a member of Anchor lodge No. 424, A. M. and A. M. Scottish Rite bodies, and Alzafar Shrine. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday from Porter Loring's chapel under auspices of Anchor lodge No. 424, A. F. and A. M., with the Rev. W. S. Tomey officiating. Interment will be in Hermann Sons cemetery. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Bertha Ramsey; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Salmon and Mrs. Roy Crutchfield of Bay City; and step-children, John Appelt of San Antonio, Charles Appelt of Brownwood, Fritz Appelt of Houston and Mrs. Emily Sartorius of Houston.
