Bertha Theresa was one of four children born to Lillian (Haley) Scharff and Louis H Scharff Sr. She was born to the couple on October 9 1925, She lived in Spring Mill, and attended school there. July 9 1945 she married Walter William Wilczynski. Bertha and Walter had one son. Bertha and Walter relocated to Conshohocken where Bertha lived for the rest of her life. She became a widow at an early age when her husband Walter was in an accident that took his life. Bertha died May 21 1975.
