Oregon Militia Will Send Escort to Funeral of Neil N. Titus.
The Oregon Naval Militia will send an escort with the body of Neil N. Titus, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Titus, 980 East Morrison street, who will be buried tomorrow at Rose City Cemetery. The services will be held in Breeze & Snook's chapel at East Thirty-fifth and Belmont streets, at 2 p.m.
Neil Titus, aged 18, died September 26 in the Brooklyn Naval Hospital after a short illness with Spanish influenza. He enlisted April 1, 1918, and had made one trip to France on a transport.
Lieutenant Harold Jones will command the escort from the milita, six of whom will be assigned as pall-bearers. A squad will fire a salute over the grave.
