Joe Armstrong, 67 of Midlothian, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Waxahachie. He was born to the late J. C. and Helen McAlpin Armstrong on January 13, 1944 in Waxahachie.
Joe was an avid traveler, traveling to most every state, especially Nevada. You could always find Joe with a bag packed and ready to go. He will be missed by many who loved him and knew him.
He is survived by his brothers, Bill Armstrong and his wife, Melissa of Waxahachie, Steve Armstrong and his wife, Donna of Arlington; his nieces and nephews, Greg Armstrong, Traci Markert, Neal Armstrong, Aaron Armstrong and Stefani Armstrong.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Hillcrest Burial Park with Rev. Marvin Mott officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie.
