He was a 1950 graduate of Waterville Senior High School. He married Arlene Gladys Nutt Dec. 2, 1950. Mr. Quirion was a member of Sacred Heart Church and an active member of the Lodge of Elks in Waterville. In 1949 he was the football captain of the Waterville High School Football Team .
Survivors include his wife, Arlene Quirion of Waterville; two daughters, Linda Ann Roderick and husband Alfred and Angela Marie Pelletier all of Waterville; two brothers and their wives, Leo Quirion and Lorraine of Waterville and James Quirion and Beverly of Winslow; two sisters, Dora May Blair of Fairfield and Joan Gaulin of Winslow; four grandchildren, Stacy, Ryan, Trina and Jennifer; two great-grandchildren, Philip and Jessica; and by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation nor funeral service. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Waterville in the spring time. (Gallant Funeral Home)
