Sylvia Ackerman 66, passed away at her home. She was born February 20, 1894 she was the fourth of eleven children of William Henry and Sarah Elizabeth Kincheloe Saltzman. Sylvia spent her life in Posey County, She was married twice, her first husband was Daniel Jones, and her second was Sylvester Ackerman. She is preceded in death by her parents William Henry Saltzman who died in '35 and her mother Sarah Kincheloe Saltzman who died in '57. She is also preceded in death by sisters; Beulah Oliver, Ida Rae Biggerstaff, Murviel Clara Phelps. She is survived by her husband Sylvester Ackerman, Mt. Vernon, Brothers Horace Saltzman, Tulare, Ca., Jesse Saltzman, Evansville, Vogel R.R. 3 Mt. Vernon, Harold Saltzman, Tulare, Ca., Eldon Saltzman, Kokomo, Indiana. Sisters: Amy(Oscar)Strean Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, Yettive (John) Hancock, R.R. 5, Mt. Vernon.

Interment will be at Beech Grove Cemetery in West Lynn Township.
