In addition to her children, she was survived by two brothers, Sam R. Harris Jr. of Henderson and Dr. Earle Harris of Madison WI, two sisters, Mrs. Ethel H. Kirby of Henderson and Mrs. Virgie Pyle of Baltimore MD and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from the Church of the Holy Innocents by the Rev. John W. S. Davis. Active pallbearers were George Gooch, George Harrison, J.W. Rogers Jr., R. G. S. Davis Jr., Joel T. Cheatham Jr., and Joseph Mahaffey.
In addition to being a member of the congregation of the Church of the Holy Innocents, she was a member of the Henderson Bird Club, the Students Club, and a number of other social organizations.
Mrs. Watson died in Marie Parham Hospital. Arrangements were handled by the Flowers Funeral Home. The family asked that memorial contributions be made to the H. Leslie Perry Library.
