CLEBURNE - Eva Mae Leck, a waitress at Buddy's Cafe and Jack and Ruth's Cafe, died Monday at a Cleburne hospital. She was 87.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne, Johnson Co., Texas. Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home in Cleburne is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Leck was born in Nemo, Somervell County, and had lived in Cleburne for most of her life.
Her husband, Gus R. Leck, died in 1983.
Survivors: Son, Eddie Joe Leck of Cleburne; two brothers, Jim Gambrell of Cleburne and Melvin Gambrell of Glen Rose; three sisters, Tommy Roye of Cleburne, Faye Ames of Fort Worth and Marie Baird of Granbury; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
