Beaten to death by his foster mother, Lillian Bedford. According to an article in the May 11-17, 2011 issue of The Philadelphia Weekly newspaper, Bedford never faced any charges for murdering this boy and, increduously, was given another foster child, who also died in her care.
Edward's brother, Charles, continues to seek answers and is currently in the process of setting up a non-profit to be a voice for victims of child abuse.
