Dennis was the oldest of 8 children. His parents were Lynn & Edena Garman. Dennis died of a heart attack on Sunday May 28, 2000 at the Jewell County Hospital in Mankato at the age of 53.
Dennis grew up on a farm west of Burr Oak, KS. He graduated from Burr Oak High School in 1966.
Dennis was united in marrage to Gloria Boyles on August 14, 1966 at Olive Hill Church. From this union they had two sons Darin and Greg. He was an active member of the Olive Hill Church were he served as a trustee, deacon and sundy school superintendent. He also served on the White Roch School Board. Dennis was employed by the USDA - Natural Resources Conservation Service as a Soil Conservation Tech.and he was engaged in farming west of Burr Oak.
He is proceded in death by his son Greg and an infant brother. Survivors include his wife Gloria of Burr Oak, KS. Son Darin of Salina, KS. Father Lynn Garman and wife Lylda of Superior, NE. Mother Edena Garman of Concordia, KS. Sisters Deanna, Alyce, Sharon, Cynthia, Susan and Jennifer.
