Resident Of Lancaster County For Fifty-Eight Years.
Arthur D. King, 87, a resident of Lancaster County for fifty-eight years, died at 1 o'clock Monday morning at his home, 2518 "P" Street. He came to Lancaster County in 1872 and has lived in this vicinity since that time. He retired from his farm several years ago and moved to Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. King celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on January 15, 1928. Mrs. King died in August, 1929. He is survived by three sons: William E. and Arthur P. of Davey, and Bernard E. of Lincoln; two daughters, Mrs. Dosey Parrott and Mrs. T. E. Helehan of Lincoln and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Smith and Mrs. John Mattison, living in London, England. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Castle, Roper & Matthews Chapel. Interment in Wyuka Cemetery.
