Floyd W. Beckstrom, 90, formerly of 1214 53rd St., Moline, died Monday, May 19, 1997, at Rosewood Health Care Center, Moline.
He was born Nov. 10, 1909, in Moline, the son of Nels W. and Goldie Griffin Beckstrom. He married Alice Truesdale in 1931 in Moline. She died Sept. 10, 1975.
He retired from Case IH in Bettendorf as an inspection supervisor.
He was a Navy veteran of WW II.
He was a member of the Moline American Legion Post 240, a member of the Masonic Lodge 1014 AF&AM, Scottish Rite and Coordinate Bodies Valley of Moline, Thor Lodge 9 Independent Order of Vikings, the Friends Circle Club and the East End Club.
Survivors include a sister, Helen E. DeWaele, Moline.
