Funeral services for Jackson L. Rowland, who died at Weston, Or., Wednesday ... Interment was in the Riverview cemetery.
Mr. Rowland, who had been a resident of Oregon since 1899, was born near McMinnville, Tenn., February 1, 1855. Following the civil war he moved to Jasper county, Missouri, in 1867 with his parents. He was married to Sarah Thomas in 1881 and after living on a farm near Carthage, Mo., for a time, they came to Portland in 1899. ... He is survived by his widow, two sons, Glenn M. Rowland of Portland and R.L. Rowland of Seattle, a brother, J.T. Rowland of St. Helens, Or., and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Stewart and Mrs. Lafe Hall of Portland.
