Services for Floyd “Buck” Lobdell, 79, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at George M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, Muscatine. Burial will be in Parr Cemetery, Muscatine County

Mr. Lobdell died Tuesday at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport.
He retired in 1978 after 26 years at Standard Oil Terminal, Bettendorf. He also was employed as a mail carrier in the Montpelier area, worked at Dave Russell Lumber Mill and farmed four years in the Montpelier area.
Mr. Lobdell married BERNICE ALTMANN in 1942 in Kahoka, Mo.
He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Davenport, and a former member of Blue Grass Lions Club.
He loved walking and reading western books.
Survivors include his wife;
daughters, Janice (Mrs. Robert) Kraft and Eunice Ann (Mrs. Donald) Coussens, both of Blue Grass; sons, Kenneth, Blue Grass, and Robert, Davenport;
eight grand-children; seven great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren;
and brothers, Delbert Sr., Blue Grass, and Alvin, Donna, Texas.
