Mr. Olson was born July 28, 1878, at Manitowoc, son of the late John and Ingeborg Leverson Olson. He was employed at the Manitowoc Seating Co. for 20 years and later became a house painter by profession. After his retirement in 1960, he became interested in oilpainting. His work was exhibited throughout the state and he garnered many awards for them. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. No. 55 Of Manitowoc. Survivors include a nephew, John M Olson, six grand nephews, grand nieces and 14 great grand nephews and nieces. Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home Manitowoc, Ninth Street entrance after 3 p.m Wednesday and until noon Thursday then at the church until the hour of services. Memorials may be made to St Paul Lutheran Church building fund.
