Clarence Barto, 86, of Bradford died at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 1979 at Stark County Health Center where he had been a patient since 1977. He was a retired teacher and farmer in the Bradford area. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church of Bradford and the Knights of Columbus. Born March 2, 1893, near Bradford, a son of Frank and Catherine Driscoll Barto, he married Anna E. Real February 7, 1923, in Bradford. She preceded him in death. Three sisters also preceded him. Surviving are one son, John of Bradford; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) O'Donnell of College Park, Md., and Mrs. William (Mary Claire) Kenny of Arlington Heights; 18 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Howard (Clara) Bell of Bradford. Services were Saturday at St. John's Church. The Rev. Heine Ciesielski officiated and burial was in St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was held at Dunlap Funeral Home Thursday night. The rosary was recited. Organist for the service was Carrie Sharkey. Pallbearers were Rick Barto, Mike Barto, Randall Barto, Mel O'Donnell, John O'Donnell, and Bill Kenny
