Howard W. Jennings, 48, St. Louis attorney, and son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Jennings of Moberly, died at 2 o'clock this morning in Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. He had been ill for some time, but entered the hospital only Sunday. He had suffered a stroke of paralysis. With him at the time of his death were his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Marshall of Moberly.

Jennings Irvin, a cousin of Kansas City was with him during his illness.

Besides the sister, he is survived only by a son, John, 11 years old, of Moberly.

Mr. Jennings was born in Moberly, attended the Moberly public schools and received his first year of high school at Kemper Military Academy, Boonville. He attended the University of Missouri, Columbia, received his A.B. Degree at Stanford University, California, and was graduated from the law school of Harvard University. Shortly thereafter he began the practice of law in St. Louis, where he had lived since.
