Clinton E. Griffin, Aged Exeter Man, I Taken By Death
Funeral services were held at the Exeter Hadley chapel Tuesday for Clinton Elbert Griffin, 84, who died at his home at 428 North Quince avenue in Exeter Saturday evening.
Rev. W.M. McClearen officiated at the service, for which music was furnished by Mrs. Calva Stuart. Pallbearers were W.M. Wellzbacher, W.J. Hubbard, Adrain Brown, M.F. Brokaw, and Ira Ussery. Burial was in the Exeter cemetery.
Mr. Grifin was a native of Iowa and had lived in Tulare county for 28 years, formerly in the Farmersville district, and engaged in farming during his life.
He is survived by a son, Carroll Griffin of Exeter; two daughters, Mrs. Lorrain Boesch of Arvin and Miss Marjorie Griffin of Exeter, and a sister, Mrs. Amy Avery of Visalia.
