Caroline was the daughter of John Roff (1812-1846) & Mary Thomas Roff (1818-1877). She was born in Corydon, Surrey, England. She married Alfred Parker (1838-1873) on 14 Nov 1864 in London, England. Their children were: Caroline Roff (1865), Elizabeth Sophie (1866), William Roff (1869), Albert Robert (1872). They immigrated to America with Alfred's good friend, Charles Steel in 1867. The Queen Mary landed in Bloomfield, New Jersey. By 1872, they all had moved to Little Rock, Arkansas. Alfred was a wheelwright. Alfred died on 3 Sep 1873 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Caroline married Charles Steel on 21 Oct 1878 in Little Rock. Their children were: Charles John "Charley", Mary Emma (1879), William John "Will" (1882), Thomas Richard (1888), & Robert Raymond (1891). The lived in Perkins Twp, Saline, Arkansas, & Wrightsville, Pulaski, Arkansas, retiring to Little Rock, Arkansas.
