Cook County, Illinois, Deaths Index, 1878-1922 about "Yon Van De Werlan" shows that our "Jan Van De Werken" is buried in Oak Woods Cemetery, Cook County, Illinois.
No wonder I couldn't find his death record, his name is totally misspelled but the dates and places all match!!!
Fortunately I have a very smart cousin that found it, Thanks Cindy!!!
The last name Van De Werken was sometimes spelled Van der Werken, and some family members went by the last name "Workman".
I cannot thank Jennifer Madison enough for adding the photo of his cemetery marker!
