Presley C. Welsh Dies
(This was actually typed Presley G. Welsh for the heading but the article was correct)

Presley C. Welsh, aged 80 years, died at this home of his daughter in Redondo Beach, California. Mr. Welsh was the son of Rev C. Welsh and had resided in this city for the past 46 years. Last July he went to California to visit his daughter and was taken sick en route; due to his advanced age little could be done for him and he passed to his rest after an illness of three days. He was well known in the city and his death will cause sorrow among his many friends. He was a charter member of the B. P. O. Elks No. 90, a charter member of the G. A. R. Post No. 8, a charter member of the Orman fire Department and a charter member of the Brick Masons union. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Josephine Welsh and three children, Mrs. W. B. Majors of Redondo Beach, Cal., Mrs. Weldon K Keeling of this city, and Presley C. Welsh of Dixon, Wyoming, also one sister Mrs. Della A. Carruthers of Los Angeles. The remains arrived in this city at an early hour this morning, accompanied by the wife and son. The funeral service will take place Monday afternoon at 1:30 from the funeral chapel of T. G. McCarthy and Sons. Woman's Relief Corps will have charge of the services at the chapel, and the Pueblo Post of the G. A. R. will conduct the services at the grave. Burial will be in the family burial plot in the North Side cemetery.
