A native of Suffolk, she had lived in Norfolk most of her life.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. H.W. Bennett of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and a brother, Forrest Phelps of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Forest Lawn Cemetery for a funeral service Tuesday at 11 a.m. conducted by the Rev. S.K. Emurian, retired Presbyterian minister.
