Born in Fall River, MA, on October 5, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Guido Joseph and Theresa (Girodano) Marcucci. She was the sister of the late Corrado Marcucci.
Mrs. Botelho worked as a disbursement clerk on the Newport Naval Base for 25 years, retiring in 1998. She and her husband also operated the former Imperial Coin-Op Laundromat. As a young girl she helped run the family bakery, the former Columbus Bakery in Newport. Mrs. Botelho was a member of Emmanuel Church. She enjoyed knitting, cooking and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
