Thelma M. Duncan of Springdale went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 25th, 2011.
Thelma was born October 19th 1922 in Monticello, AR to her parents Will H. Cater and Mattie Pearl Cater.
She graduated from Hartman, Ar High School. She married Charles H. Duncan on January 8, 1944.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Thelma is survived by her sister Willine Davis of Springdale, AR, son William C. Duncan of Springdale, AR, son Bruce C. Duncan and wife Paulette of Flint, TX, and daughter Rebecca A. Duncan of Kingston , GA. She is also survived by grandchildren William Heath Duncan and wife Kim of Allen, TX, Aaron Duncan and wife Caroline of Dallas, TX, Courtney and Haleigh Mays of Atlanta, GA , Chase Duncan of Sharpsburg, GA and by three great granddaughters, Brooke, Holli and Annaleigh. Thelma also had beloved nephews and a niece.
She was a faithful member of Cross Church, Springdale, AR where she taught Sunday School and Bible Study classes. Thelma Duncan's family and friends are rejoicing that she is now in presence of God her Father whom she always loved and served.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m at Sisco Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, June 1, 2001 with Rev. Charlie Foster, Rev. Joe Dorman and Rev. Tom Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
