BOETTIGER Russell J. Boettiger, 51, of Meadville, died Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at St Vincent Health Center, Erie, following complications from heart surgery. Survivors include: a daughter, Amy Lynn Boettiger, a son Sam Ryan Boettiger and their mother, Cindy Boettiger all of Meadville, a daughter, Kimberly Smock of Albion; his mother, Elaine Boettiger of Fairview; a brother, Jeffrey Boettiger of Erie; four grandchildren and his loving companion Peggy Johnson and her daughters of Girard. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Carl Boettiger. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Robert W.Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St, Meadville, with a Masonic service at 7:30 pm. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Cammaratt, Pastor of Fairview Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Erie. Memorials to the American Heart Association, 823 Filmore Avenue, Erie, Erie Co, PA 16505.
