Died of Diphtheria

Leonard S., the little four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel (Error, should read Alfred) Wilson, died at the family home in the southeast part of town last Friday afternoon of Diphtheria, after a short illness. Burial took place Saturday and was in the Stafford cemetery. Dr. G. W. Akers conducted a short funeral service at the house.

Mrs. Wilson and another little son are both sick with the disease but are getting on in splendid shape with well nigh absolute certainty of an early recovery.

The husband and father is away from home, having been in California for some months, but we understand he is on his way home.

Regarding the error in the obitutary:

In reporting the death of the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred S. Wilson last week the Courier was in error stating the name as "S.A." Wilson. In spite of the greatest care it seems those little errors will creep in, Beg pardon, friends.
