To this union were born: Leslie James 1885; male 1886-1886; Clyde Leon 1888; Lela Pearl 1894; and Allen E. 1899. They adopted Helen I. born 1915.

Mrs. Emily Crafts

Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Crafts were held Friday afternoon at her late home. The Rev. Earl Beal conducted a prayer service at the house, and at the cemetery.

The bearers were Everett Ray, Ed Ray, John Taylor and Wiley Chivell. The host of sorrowing friends and relatives and the many beautiful floral offerings were material symbols of the esteem in which Mrs. Crafts was held by all who knew her.

Emily L. Crafts was born in Lowell, Vt. on May 19, 1862, the daughter of James and Mary Edwards. On September 17, 1882, she was united in marriage with Samuel A. Crafts, at Johnson, Vt.

To them were born four children, Leslie J., Clyde, who died in 1920, Lela (Mrs. Albert Cummings) and Allen, deceased in 1934. After their own children were grown up they adopted Helen, (Mrs. Roy Ames).

Among those from out of town attending the service were Warren Crafts of Bradford, Vt., Mrs. Mary Brigham, Mrs. and Mrs. Jewett Crafts from Newport, Vt., Mrs. Josie Crafts from Concord, Mrs. Kenneth Reid of Chelmsford, Mass., Miss Emma Cummings of Concord, Mass., and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cummings of Lancaster.
