Robert Price Wright known as "Price" Wright to family and friends, was one of Rev. Christoper Columbus Wright and Emily (Dickerson) Wright's children. He was born in Benina Community, San Augustine County, Texas to a large close knit family.
Price Wright and Evie Woods fell in love and were married on December 12, 1920, in San Augustine County, Texas.
They later moved to Jasper, Jasper County, Texas, about thirty miles from San Augustine County, where they raised their family.
Evie Wright died January 1, 1950, and was laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery, Jasper, County, Texas. Price lived for several more years, and followed his beloved wife Evie on January 25, 1968, and was laid to rest by her in Evergreen Cemetery.
An infant of theirs was born on November 21, 1921, and died January 2,1922, and was laid to rest in Little Flock Cemetery, San Augustine County, Texas.
Their other children were Denise Wright, Juanita Wright, Alton Isaiah Wright, and Charles Earlton Wright.
Alton Isaiah Wright was born June 7, 1926, and died on April 7, 1997, and was laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
