Sometime after husband Alexander died Nannie bought property near Robbins from her uncle. This property was bordered roughly by what is now Lakely Siding road and Hemp street Extension and Buffalo Creek and is bisected by the old Plank Road. The intersection of Plank RD and Hemp Street Ext and part of the Plank Road have both been slightly relocated since that time but only slightly.
For a while between roughly 1912 and 1914 Nannie was very ill and her niece Nannie Wallace lived with her and provided daily care for Nannie.
As a result (and possibly because her children were both dead)when she died she left the property described above to her niece Nannie Wallace (Morphis by that time).
Nannie died in 1918 and is buried along with her husband in the Thomas J Williams Cemetery which abuts her property just south of Hemp Street Ext near the intersection with the Old Plank Road.
