NANCY FRANCES HILBER passed away due to cancer on the morning of May 29, 2011, at the age of 74. Born June 24, 1936, in Newburyport, MA. She moved to Fontana, CA, in her teenage years. Graduated in 1955 from Fontana High School. She was married to Richard Hilber on February 8, 1958. Nancy was a proud and hard working employee at Palm Drug for 16 years. She was continuously on the go, full of life, and never let anything get in her way. People knew her as a kind, considerate, and happy person, always with a smile on her face. She was a member of St. Adelaide Church, Highland Senior Center, Prime Time Choraliers, and Elk's Lodge. She volunteered at Mary's Table, feeding the homeless and preparing care packages for children of need. Surviving Family Members: Loving mother of 1 son, Mark, and 3 daughters, Cathy, Jennifer, and Yvette, proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren, Crystal, Cameron, Amanda, Amber, and James, and great grandmother to Layla, Seth, and Connor. Cherished sister to Doris, Betty, Paul, John, Shirley, Gerald, and Priscilla. She leaves behind extended family and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. Visitation: Sunday, June 5, 2011, 5-8 P.M., Rosary at 6 P.M., Mt. View Mortuary in San Bernardino. Funeral Services: Monday, June 6, 10 A.M., St. Adelaide Church, 27457 E. Baseline, Highland. Interment at Montecito Cemetery in Loma Linda and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Amyloidosis Foundation at amyloidosis.org, Multiple Myeloma at myeloma.org, and International Myeloma Foundation.
