Louise J. Boucher
GOFFSTOWN ? Louise J. Boucher, 81, died Sept. 3, 2007, at Hanover HIll Health Care facility.
She was born June 28, 1926, in Opp, Ala., to William and Josie (Demovial-Cotton) Jowers. She was a homemaker from the time she married in 1944 until 1973, when she began working as ward secretary at Catholic Medical Center, until her retirement in 1988.
Mrs. Boucher is remembered for her gardening skills, which had people stopping along the banks of the Merrimack River to photograph her work. She was an avid quilter, cook and seamstress, making many quilts and pillows for family friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Boucher, in 1993.
Family members include daughters, Denise Monaghan of Manchester and Cindy Boucher of Goffstown; sons, William Boucher of Candia, Gary Boucher of Manchester and David Boucher of Hooksett; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory in Manchester handled the arrangements.
