FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD
AT HAGI FUNERAL HOME MONDAY

Fred Rohlfing, age 66, son of the late Fred and Louise Rohlfing, died in St. Mary's hospital at nine o'clock this morning, following an illness extending over a period of ten months.
Born in Otter Creek township, January 22, 1877 (different from stone being the 23rd). Mr. Rohlfing grew to manhood there, and on June 22, 1904, was united in marriage with Gertrude Woodward, who passed away, August 8,1933. Five children were born to them, three of whom are left, including Russell of this city and Glen Rohlfing of Great Lakes Naval Training station, Great Lakes.
Mr. Rohlfing was married to Miss Minnie Raspiller, September 3, 1940. She is also left together with brother, Edward Rohlfing, of Downer's Grove and a grandson, Norman Rohlfing of Streator. Three sisters preceded him in death; Lily and Amelia Rohlfing* (*Weiking)and Mrs. Bertha Hagedorn.
Mr. Rohlfing followed farming as an occupation the greater part of his life, residing on a farm in Livingston county from 1907 to 1925.
He located in Streator after that and was employed as a salesman of Ford cars being last (employed) by the Owl Garage until ill health forced his retirement.
Funeral services will be held at the Hagi funeral home at two o'clock Monday afternoon, where friends may call after two o'clock Saturday. The body will be taken to the family home 312 S. Vermillion Street at ten o'clock Sunday morning, where it will remain until ten o'clock Monday morning when it will be returned to the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Grand Rapids Township cemetery.

FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR FRED ROHLFING

Funeral services for Fred Rohlfing were held from the Hagi funeral home at two o'clock Monday afternoon, Rev. E.W. Smith, pastor of the Presbyterian church officiating. Mrs. Margaret Norman sang several hymns, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Dorothy Call.
Pallbearers were Thad Woodward, W.B. Meils, Charles Hagi, Clarence Mortland, Thomas Holland, William Mathieu, Herman Horn, and Kenneth Dice. The flowers were in charge of Mesdames Stacey Briner, Earl Ayers, Harry Manypenny, William Mathieu and Mildred Finley. Interment occurred in Grand Rapids cemetery.
Among those in attendance who came from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Woodward, A.C. Woodward, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Woodward, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dulian, Mrs. Donald Dulian, Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Krause and Leah Capsule of Ottawa; Edward Rohlfing, Miss Marion Rohlfing and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hagedorn, Downers Grove; Mrs. R.B. James, Mr. Russell Brown, Mrs. Clinton McCormick, Mrs. Orville Reisner, Pontiac; Mrs. Edna Munger, Grand Bay, Ala.; Harold Burton, Chicago.
