He is My 1st Husband and the Father of My 2 Son's. Suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage and lived less than 24 hours. Died at VA Hospital . Birmingham ,AL.
John Earl Brasher , Sr. was the son of Abner Paul ( April 16, 1924 - August 04 , 1964 ) & Cora Mae Stewart Brasher. His Grand Parents were Paul ( 1896 -1930 )and Sarah Frances "Fannie " Brasher ( 1896 - 1961 )and Erskine James ( 1903 - 1987 ) & Nellie Moncrief Stewart ( 1908 - 1996 ).
The Stewart's are buried at Mt. Hebron Cemetary in Leeds, Alabama.John Earl Brasher was wounded while in Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star and an Army Commendation Medal.
